The thing I want to stress today is that the more you concentrate on your work, and your learning the more you increase your value. It is the value of the unit time you spend doing anything. If you are studying then why not study the best, and if you are working then why not do a great job.
Today was a great day. I have learned a lot, and I will mention the principles I applied today, and how I applied them by giving a glimpse over the context in which they were applied.
Today I want to stress the idea of adding value. When you add value to others, and you see the impact of your work on them, you feel more satisfied and you even strive for adding more value.
Today I want to stress the importance of continuous trials. The more you try in doing something, the more you make mistakes, the more you get feedback. Now it is up to you whether to use that feedback positively and benefit from it to decrease your mistakes and thus increase your probability of success.
I want to stress today the idea of appreciating others’ solutions when you fall into a problem. After falling into a problem, especially big ones you will mostly find a solution for that big problem. It could be a software or a whole new technology that was built to solve these problems.
I want to stress today on the process. I mean success is a process that needs time, and not an event that happens overnight. Solving problems and acquiring new skills takes time. Being super rushed to finish everything in an unrealistic time may eventually make you frustrated.
I will add a mini-system to the big system I mentioned in this post. I mean by mini-system a system that I apply before each task. This is inspired by an audiobook I was listening to today called unscripted. He didn’t mention the mini-system idea or about how to learn or do your job, but he was talking about something somehow different.
What about yesterday’s problem? I still didn’t solve it, but I am still trying. Today I will only share two pieces of advice regarding the challenges I faced, then I will share other useful pieces of advice that I have learned.
Today I have met a challenge, but the challenge was not about disengagement, but about a really difficult problem that I am facing in my work. Although I tried many techniques, none has worked yet. Therefore, I will try to apply more critical thinking to finally solve this problem. So, in this post, I will just share some useful pieces of advice.
This post will be very small since I only want to mention one thing that will summarize my day today. It is the power of understanding one’s self and what works for you. I won’t give you a blueprint.
